A Short History

In 1906 Charles Lowe began his Lowe Aston Adventure by working out of the front room of his terraced house in Ley Street, Ilford, Essex initially as a Jobbing Printer. Charles tried many avenues before discovering Lowe Aston's niche in the Calendar market, and from that moment on the company has not looked back. Despite the impact of the World War, Lowe Aston continued to establish their position within the calendar market and within 10 years the business had grown to such an extent that purpose built factory premises were required.

With the business continually growing, the time had come to consider a new location that would accommodate Lowe Aston's future growth and expansion and in 1966 Lowe Aston moved to Saltash, Cornwall into a brand new purpose built factory. With constant advancements in technology, Lowe Aston continually developed, with new and improved production methods installed to ensure that Lowe Aston remained renowned with quality and excellence.

Throughout this period, Lowe Aston has remained a family business committed to fulfilling our customer requirements, delivering products of exceptional quality, with superior service by a knowledgeable and friendly customer focused team, based in Cornwall.

In 2006 with our 100 year anniversary Lowe Aston expanded its current knowledge and expertise by integrating with a local communications and publicising company, enabling Lowe Aston to further strengthen and enhance its skilled team.
